Nick Chubb has been a fan favorite since his debut season with the Cleveland Browns. However, the running back penned his thoughts before his eventual return, and the Browns’ faithful are even more proud of him.
The 28-year-old Chubb tore his MCL and damaged his ACL in the Week 2 clash against the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. He has been away from the field since then. However, the fans won’t have to wait any longer, and they have expressed their desire to watch him back on the gridiron.
Nick Chubb Expresses Gratitude for Browns Fans Remaining Thankful
On Wednesday, Chubb wrote a lengthy article in “The Players’ Tribune” highlighting his struggle with injury and his excitement about coming back. The Browns’ RB revealed that the only reason he wasn’t cut from the roster was because of the love from Cleveland fans.

The fans were unable to hold back their tears for the man the city drafted in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. They expressed their joy for the loyalty that Chubb has shown as well. “Don’t let him leave Cleveland bro,” wrote one fan.

Browns Desperately Need Nick Chubb Back on the Field
The Browns are on a four-game losing streak, with their record at 1-5. For their next clash against the Cincinnati Bengals, they’ll be at home after three weeks. The fans may be unhappy with the team’s performance, but they’ll have a reason to cheer after seeing Chubb back in action.
Apart from that, the four-time Pro Bowler will bring the running game back on the drawing board for Cleveland. The man with 6,511 rushing yards and 48 rushing touchdowns to his name will give the Bengals’ defense new problems to deal with.
