Bengals Told Dax Hill Change Was Coming Prior to Free Agency, but Full Clarity Awaits in 2024

After struggling last season, Dax Hill’s future role in Cincinnati was uncertain. It was clear that the Bengals needed to invest in the safety position, which is exactly what the franchise did this offseason.

Bengals Re-Sign Joe Bachie, Cal Adomitis

While the Bengals have made plenty of outside additions this offseason, they re-signed two familiar faces — linebacker Joe Bachie and long snapper Cal Adomitis — on Monday.

Both players will likely serve as key contributors on Cincinnati’s special-teams unit next season. Bachie has been in Cincinnati since 2021 and started two games at linebacker during his three-year tenure with the franchise.
