In Week 3, the Chicago Bears head to Lucas Oil Stadium to face off against the winless Indianapolis Colts in a battle of young quarterbacks — Caleb Williams and Anthony Richardson.
As of Sunday afternoon, the Bears’ injury report doesn’t give much reason for concern, aside from veteran receiver Keenan Allen.
Who Are the Inactives for Chicago Bears vs. Indianapolis Colts?
Looking to get back into the win column after a loss in prime time last week, the Bears are without Allen for their second consecutive game.
Along with Allen’s absence this week, running back Travis Homer was placed on Injured Reserve, and Week 7 is his earliest chance to return. Not only is Allen missing a second consecutive week, but fullback Khari Blasingame joins him after being ruled out for Sunday’s matchup against the Colts.
For the second straigh week, Velus Jones Jr. is a healthy scratch, following his Week 1 fumble on kick return.
And while offensive lineman Nate Davis was removed from the injury report this week, it appears that Matt Pryor will make his first start of the season at right guard, facing against his old team.
Yesterday,#Bears coach Matt Eberflus alluded to the possibility Matt Pryor plays on Sunday at Indianapolis.
"Super excited for him, if he's working in there with Nate (Davis) or whatever that might be."
From what I am hearing, Pryor is expected to start at right guard.

As for the Colts, their defense will look much different this week and at least the next three.
Heading into this week, Indianapolis placed defensive tackle DeForest Buckner on injured reserve, which comes as a massive blow to one of the league’s weakest rush defenses this season. Aside from Buckner, the Colts didn’t rule out any of their starters ahead of Sunday’s matchup.
