Dobbins faced a painful knee injury in the second quarter of the game. Updating the RB’s playing status, NFL insider Ian Rapoport shared on X, “#Chargers standout RB JK Dobbins suffered a knee sprain in Monday’s game that will cause him to miss some time, sources say. He’s out this week against the #Falcons and up in the air after that. Gus Edwards is his backup.”

Fans were left heartbroken by the news and expressed their thoughts on the news:

“I’m just looking for a healthy stretch for JK Dobbins. We see how good he can be for the Chargers. I hope this setback doesn’t last too long and he’s able to return soon,” one fan added.

“J.K. Dobbins’ knee sprain is a significant blow for the Chargers as he’ll miss the Falcons game. Gus Edwards will step in, but Dobbins’s recovery timeline remains uncertain,” another fan added.

Another fan said, “I’m Praying that he can return and finish his amazing season comeback story. In every interview, he is smiling and happy just to be playing.”

Another fan added, “It will be a good break for him to come back fresh, and now we get to see how good Vidal is. It is an excellent opportunity for him to work with Gus.”

“Damn, I was happy to see him succeed, even if it’s not in a Ravens uniform! Prayers for a quick recovery,” another fan sent wishes.

Another fan said, “I’m Glad it was nothing more than a sprain, and I wish for a quick recovery! I hate that it had to happen against the Ravens of all teams.”

The Chargers will now face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
