The Chicago Bears helped bring some Hollywood flair by making former USC quarterback Caleb Williams the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Outside of starring in the nation’s second-biggest market, Williams immediately became a celebrity with Dr. Pepper commercials.
Williams enjoyed a prolific college career, scoring 120 total touchdowns and notching 23 victories in what amounts to two-and-a-half seasons worth of work. He also earned Heisman honors for his standout 2022 campaign. Now he’s inheriting an enviable receiving corps featuring the likes of DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, and Cole Kmet.
He’s also inheriting a whole new fanbase in his transition to the NFL. But for those wondering if the top pick is single, it’s time to dive into those rumblings.
Does Caleb Williams Have a Girlfriend?
Multiple sources around the web indicate that Williams did indeed have a long-term girlfriend. According to The U.S. Sun, Williams had been official with his girlfriend, Valery Orellana, at least since the two were students at neighboring high schools in the D.C. metro area together back in 2020.
However, ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, Williams told The Spun that the two are no longer together.
Further evidence that the couple has split is a pre-draft video posted on social media, in which Williams is seen walking with arms linked with another young lady who is not Orellana but Alina Thyregod.

A Look at the Williams/Thyregod Relationship Timeline
Williams and his current girlfriend are fairly new additions to the public spotlight. How long the two have been together is unknown at this time.
Furthermore, both Williams and Thyregod have done their part to maintain a low profile in their relationship. Still, photos of them surfaced in June during the 2024 Louis Vuitton SS24 Men’s Show in Paris.

While there isn’t much information on the new relationship, Orellana was also quite private herself during her time with Williams. Although there are a few instances on her Instagram page, which is publicly accessible, in which she can be seen supporting her now ex-superstar boyfriend.
