Braxton Berrios’ Girlfriend Alix Earle Drops 4-Word Reaction to Dolphins WR Starring in Ocean Drive Magazine Cover

Braxton Berrios' girlfriend Alix Earle reacts to the Miami Dolphins wide receiver getting featured in October’s issue of Ocean Drive magazine.

Braxton Berrios and the Miami Dolphins had a bye in Week 6. The team is 2-3 heading into Week 7 and has struggled without Tua Tagovailoa, who suffered a concussion in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills.

Ahead of their Week 7 game, though, Berrios announced on Instagram that he is starring on the cover of Ocean Drive magazine. The Dolphins wideout was praised by many, including his girlfriend Alix Earle, teammate Jaelan Phillips, and Jake Paul.

Earle has 4.7 million followers on Instagram and 7.1 million followers on TikTok. She also has a successful podcast, “Hot Mess with Alix.

“NFL man,” commented Jake Paul on Berrios’ Instagram post. Phillips, Berrios’ teammate, called it “Iconic.”

Phillips suffered a season-ending injury during the Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans. It was a devasting blow for both the Dolphins and the player himself after he suffered an Achilles injury last year.

Berrios and Dolphins Will Face the Colts in Week 7

Ahead of the season, Berrios had signed a one-year, $2.15 million contract to remain with the Dolphins. Fast forward to Week 7, Miami is set to take on the Indianapolis Colts in its first game after the team’s bye week. With Tagovailoa still out, Tyler Huntley will continue to be the Dolphins’ starting quarterback.

There is no clear-cut answer as to when Tagovailoa will return, but Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel did say that he expects Tua to play again this year. Tagovailoa is eligible to come off injured reserve for the Week 8 game against the Arizona Cardinals.

All the Dolphins receivers have failed to make an impact in Tagovailoa’s absence. Berrios has been targeted four times this season but has no receptions. He has returned two kicks for 50 yards and five punts for 85 yards, averaging 17.0 yards per return.

This season, the Dolphins are averaging only 12.0 points a game, making them the NFL‘s worst-ranked team in that category. Since Tagovailoa got hurt, the team has scored this many points each week:

  1. Week 3: at Seattle Seahawks – 3 points
  2. Week 4: vs. Tennessee Titans – 12 points
  3. Week 5: at New England Patriots – 15 points

The Dolphins need the former Alabama star QB on the field as soon as possible but have to be careful due to his history of concussions.
