Top Georgia Receivers in the NFL: Where do you rank A.J. Green among all-time WRs?

Which former Georgia receivers are in the NFL, and how do they rank after A.J. Green, who easily takes the top spot?

The Georgia Bulldogs are known for defense — that’s easy. But quietly, Georgia has moved some uber-talented receivers from college football to the NFL as of late. The pinnacle of that group is, of course, A.J. Green. How many Georgia receivers are currently in the NFL, and how have they performed throughout their careers?

A.J. Green is the pinnacle of Georgia receivers in the NFL

With four current NFL receivers hailing from Georgia, it was easy to place Green at the top. As just one of 50 pass catchers to haul in at least 10,000 career receiving yards, Green is still laying waste to defensive backs. Let’s take a look at the four receivers who Georgia currently claims in the NFL.

4. Isaiah McKenzie, Buffalo Bills

Talk about a versatile threat. Isaiah McKenzie has had great success as a rotational receiver and return man in the NFL. McKenzie’s career year happened just a season ago. He hauled in 33 catches for 296 yards, but 6 of those receptions were touchdowns. McKenzie is a reliable receiver who has dropped just a handful of passes through his career. He’s also totaled nearly 1,500 all-purpose return yards to date.

3. Chris Conley, Houston Texans

Though the expectations were certainly high, Chris Conley has quietly had an incredibly solid NFL career so far. In seven seasons, he’s moved on from the Kansas City Chiefs to a duo of AFC South teams.

His tenures with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans have gone unnoticed nationally, but he still hauled in 1,569 receiving yards the past three years. Additionally, Conley has caught multiple touchdowns in each of the past four seasons.

2. Mecole Hardman, Kansas City Chiefs

A viable No. 3 receiver in a talented Kansas City Chiefs receiving corps, Mecole Hardman is more than just a speedster. He has hauled in at least 30 receptions and 500 yards in each of his first three seasons. Hardman also flashed as a rookie with nearly 1,000 kick return yards. To this day, he has 13 receiving touchdowns and another 2 career return TDs to his credit.

1. A.J. Green, Arizona Cardinals

Green has hauled in 721 career receptions for 10,510 yards. That receiving yardage figure is good enough to rank 44th all-time. Green’s first 10 seasons were illustrious with the Cincinnati Bengals. He hauled in at least 1,000 yards in five straight seasons and in six of his first seven years in the pros. Despite missing 2019 with an injury, Green has averaged over 1,000 yards in every season he has played.
