Today will be the final Saturday NFL games until December, as the NFL gives us seven preseason games to sink our teeth into. Let’s take a look at those seven NFL preseason matchups and which 14 teams will finish off their preparations for the season on Saturday.
Are there NFL preseason games on Saturday?
A slightly reduced slate of Saturday NFL preseason games compared to what we have been used to, seven games are sprinkled throughout the day. The action once again begins at 1 PM ET on NFL Network, as the Buffalo Bills host the Green Bay Packers.
We get a break for a couple of hours before the Washington Football Team hosts the Baltimore Ravens at 6 PM ET. The second nationally televised game gets underway at 7 PM ET as we get another look at Justin Fields with the Chicago Bears facing the Tennessee Titans.
Subsequently, three locally televised games begin over the next hour or so. The Arizona Cardinals challenge the New Orleans Saints, while the Houston Texans face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 8 PM ET. The Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams then square off at 9:05 PM ET.
Our final game of the day is a matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Seattle Seahawks on NFL Network. That game will signal the final planned Saturday action until mid-December. It will be the 17th preseason game that has been played on a Saturday this year and the final game of the preseason slate with a late-night kickoff for football fans on the East Coast.
