Pro Football Network LLC (PFN) has announced that Adam Beasley, a Miami Dolphins beat reporter for the Miami Herald since 2012, has joined the company as its National NFL Insider and Analyst.
“I couldn’t be more excited — and grateful — to join Pro Football Network,” said Beasley. “A national gig has long been a dream, and I’m going to work my butt off every day to provide fun, unique content to our growing audience.”
Beasley will lead the NFL coverage alongside Trey Wingo, PFN’s Chief NFL Analyst, and Dalton Miller, PFN’s Lead NFL Analyst. Beasley will be involved in all aspects of the company, including written, video, and audio coverage.
“Bringing Adam to Pro Football Network is our next step in becoming a primary source of information for football fans across the world,” said Matt Cannata, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “Adam’s extensive list of contacts and experience in the football media industry will give our audience a unique perspective and intimate understanding of the behind-the-scenes nature of the game and its inner workings, from the player perspective to executive levels.”
Beasley is an Associated Press Sports Editors (APSE) award winner for breaking news. He graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Communications in 2001 and had professional stops in West Texas, Northern Virginia, and Baltimore before moving to South Florida in early 2006. He’s staffed nine Super Bowls, multiple NBA Finals and Final Fours, Triple Crown races, the College Football Playoff title game, and international soccer.
“Aside from Adam’s versatile content and storytelling, PFN hired the best beat writer in a top market who comes from a well-known publication with a Rolodex of trusted contacts that he is ready to unleash on a national scale,” said Aaron Sutton, Chairman of the PFN Board. “This is another massive victory for PFN and who we are as a company.”
