New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has achieved immense success in the NFL. However, he has also experienced many ups and downs in his personal life, especially with his family.
The future Hall of Famer has been estranged from his family for over 10 years. However, it sounds like Aaron and the Rodgers clan hope to rekindle their relationship in the future.
Let’s Meet Aaron Rodgers’ Family Members
Aaron grew up in a family of five, including his parents, Edward Wesley and Darla Rodgers, and his two brothers, Luke and Jordan.
His father, Edward, is a Texas native who worked as a chiropractor in California. He was also an offensive lineman who played college football for the Chico State Wildcats from 1973-76.
According to Sportskeeda, Aaron’s mom, Darla, worked as a part-time reporter and manager at the Chico Enterprise-Record newspaper. Like her husband, she was born in Texas, but the couple later moved to California after their wedding.
Aaron has two siblings and is the middle child. His older brother is Luke, and Jordan is his younger brother.
Fans learned about the family feud when Jordan appeared on the reality show “The Bachelorette.”
Jordan told his now-wife, JoJo Fletcher, about his family dynamics, as he wanted her to know all aspects of his life before taking her home.
“My middle brother won’t be there, Aaron,” he told her. “As I said, I have a great relationship with my brother, Luke. Me and Aaron don’t really have that much of a relationship.
“It’s just kind of the way he’s chosen to do life, and I’ve chosen to stay close with my family, parents, and brother. Yeah, it’s not ideal, and I love him, and I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in his shoes and have the pressure and demands from people that he has. Don’t have hard feelings against him; it’s just how things go right now.”
Like Aaron, Jordan was also a quarterback. He played college football at Vanderbilt University and later had stints in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Miami Dolphins.
However, he decided to pivot to broadcasting, joining ESPN’s SEC Network as a college football analyst in 2016.
Jordan also starred in a few shows like “The Cash Pad” while also running a YouTube channel with his partner called “Engaged with JoJo & Jordan.”
Luke took part in a reality show called “Clean Break” in 2012. The show revolved around men taking a vacation from their lives to an exotic place like Hawaii.
He has two degrees: a bachelor of science in exercise physiology and a master’s in business administration from San Diego State University.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Luke is currently working on his “Blurry Creatures Podcast,” which is a US Top 100 show and has more than 10 million downloads.
