Serena Williams’ Husband Alexis Ohanian Unveils the Parenting Rule Behind His Adorable Moments With Daughter Olympia
Widely appreciated for his hands on approach towards parenting, Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian recently unveiled a strict rule imposed for his daughters. The Reddit co-founder mentioned how he keeps his daughters away from social media, suggesting it as an effective parenting rule.
“There is no one way to parent, but since you ask for how I’m doing it, the answer is very simple: no social media. If everyone agrees to not be on social media, you don’t create that peer pressure… and I think our kids, especially daughters, end up having much healthier relationships,” he said.
There’s no one-size-fits-all for parenting, but here’s my take: no social media.
I’m not surprised more governments are starting to do the same. But I’m not waiting for a law to make that call.
If more of us just said “not yet,” it’d probably be a lot healthier for our kids. pic.twitter.com/auY3JtD150

He also suggested other parents out there to consider forming their own directives.
“Y’all can get this done. You don’t need a government ban to ban it in your own house,” he added.
