Boris Becker and his wife, Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, have shared exciting news with fans. The couple announced they are expecting their first child together. Becker, who is 57 years old, will become a father for the fifth time. His wife, Monteiro, is 34 years old.

The couple shared the news on Instagram on June 29, 2025. Becker posted a sweet video showing his pregnant wife with her baby bump. He wrote a simple message saying, “A tiny miracle is on the way… The best is yet to come.”

Boris Becker’s Large Family

Becker already has four children from his past relationships, with his oldest son Noah being born in 1994 when Becker was married to his first wife, Barbara Feltus. His second son, Elias, came in 1999, also with Barbara.

The German also has a daughter named Anna Ermakova, who was born in 2000. Anna’s mother is Angela Ermakova, a Russian model whom Becker briefly dated. Before this pregnancy, his youngest child is Amadeus, who was born in 2010. Amadeus’ mother is Lilly Kerssenberg, Becker’s second wife.

Now, Monteiro will give Becker his fifth child, who will be their first baby together.

How Boris Becker and Lilian Found Love

Boris Becker and Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro met in 2022 when Becker was going through very difficult times. They started dating while Becker was facing serious legal problems.

In 2022, Becker was sent to prison for hiding money and assets during his bankruptcy case. He was sentenced to two and a half years but served only eight months. During this difficult time, Monteiro stood by him and supported him.

Monteiro is from São Tomé and Príncipe, a small island nation in Africa with only 200,000 people. Her father, Victor Monteiro, used to be their country’s defense minister. She was born in Rome, Italy, in 1990. Monteiro is multilingual and speaks five languages. She studied African Studies and works as a political risk manager.

The couple got married in September 2024 in a beautiful ceremony in Portofino, Italy. They had 150 guests at their wedding, with the program lasting three days, and many famous people present to celebrate with them. This is Becker’s third marriage after his previous marriages to Barbara Feltus and Lilly Kerssenberg.

Becker has said that going through tough times together strengthened their relationship. During his prison time, he learned who his real friends were, and Monteiro was the most important person who stayed with him.

The couple now lives in Italy and often visits Monteiro’s family in São Tomé and Príncipe.
