American ATP star Ben Shelton was recently seen testing his soccer skills alongside his girlfriend, Trinity Rodman. The 22-year-old seemed focused as he juggled the soccer ball while his girlfriend watched in awe. This came just days after Rodman showed interest in tennis while watching one of Shelton’s matches at the ongoing grass swing.

Shelton and Rodman went public with their relationship in March 2025. Trinity is a U.S. soccer star. She plays for the Washington Spirit and is a member of the national team. She won NWSL Rookie of the Year and Olympic gold in 2024 and is known as one of the top young talents in women’s soccer.
After her frequent visits to Shelton’s matches across the European swing, the latter was also seen trying a hand at her sport. In a video shared by the ATP tour’s official Instagram channel, the young champ was seen juggling a soccer ball with complete focus. He was also accompanied by Rodman, who couldn’t take her eyes off the gracious skill.
The video came with a caption: “He’s a baller! ⚽️🔝It looks like @benshelton has picked up a few skills from @trinity_rodman! 😉.”

After his opening round exit at the Queen’s Club, Shelton is now preparing himself for the upcoming ATP 250 event in Mallorca.

Like every other sweet couple on tour, Shelton has also been experiencing notable support from his girlfriend. After she was seen spectating some of his matches in Munich and Madrid, Shelton mentioned how this makes him feel happier. He also revealed that she has started liking the environment of tennis as a sport.
“It’s been pretty cool. It’s obviously a lot different atmosphere when you’re on a team and all the people are kind of like your best friends,” Shelton said. “She’s come to the tennis events and kind of been like, ‘Oh, why did none of the girls talk to each other or why does it seem like no one is really saying anything to each other or kind of just doing their own thing or being within their team?’”
Shelton’s next match is scheduled on Jun. 25 against compatriot Learner Tien. With Rodman already backing him during the practice sessions, it is highly likely that she will also be present during the matches.
