IN PHOTOS: Sky Star Angel Reese Stuns in Chic Dior Outfit

Angel Reese stunned in pink Dior before the Chicago Sky game on Thursday and launched her 'Mebounds' merch line to silence critics.

The self-proclaimed “real one and only Barbie,” Angel Reese, arrived in style ahead of the Chicago Sky’s latest game. She turned heads in a pink Dior sweater, beige miniskirt, and matching heels. The 23-year-old forward paired the look with a Dior handbag and long braided pigtails, the style she sported during a recent on-court dust-up with Bria Hartley.

Reese’s Dior ensemble caught fans’ attention before tip-off. Bayou Barbie even posted the fit on her Instagram, captioning it “Miss Dior 💗.” Although her fans showered the post with love and appreciation, with comments like “I adore you 😍” and “Eats down 😍,” her play once again sparked some interesting reactions.

The bold look came just days after a tense moment in the Sky’s 78–66 win over the Connecticut Sun, when Hartley appeared to grab Reese’s hair during a play. While Hartley later said the contact was unintentional, the incident nearly escalated on the court.

The Sky couldn’t carry the momentum into their next game, falling 79-72 to the Washington Mystics. Still, Reese delivered one of her strongest performances of the season, finishing with 17 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a block.

Chicago has struggled to string together wins, but Reese remains a consistent contributor. She’s averaging 11 points, 11.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game this season.

Reese Claps Back at Critics With ‘Mebounds’ Trademark and Merch Drop

Reese is also gaining momentum off the court. After being mocked online for repeatedly rebounding her missed shots, the 23-year-old flipped the narrative by leaning into the joke and quickly trademarking the term “Mebounds.”

In a recent TikTok post, she credited the internet for the nickname, saying, “Whoever came up with the ‘mebounds’ thing, y’all ate because ‘mebounds,’ rebounds, crebounds… anything that comes off that board, it’s mine.”

“And a brand? That’s six figures right there,” she added. “The trolling, I love when y’all do it because, like, the ideas be good… when y’all came up with ‘mebounds,’ y’all ate.”

Reese followed up by launching official “Mebounds” merchandise.

“MEBOUNDS, REESEBOUNDS, REBOUNDS… MERCH AVAILABLE NOW!” she posted on X. “Part of the proceeds are going to go to the Angel C. Reese foundation to help fight against cyberbullying! SHOP NOW! LINK IN BIO!! #hatingpaystoo”

According to filings, the trademark was registered in Maryland. The move highlights her growing brand presence, which could prove valuable in the long term, especially if she continues to lean into fan engagement and business ventures.

Reese may still be developing her shooting touch, but she continues to show flashes of improvement. On June 15, she recorded her first WNBA triple-double with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists. That highlighted just how versatile she can be.

With the Sky sitting at 3-8, general manager Jeff Pagliocca made it clear that Reese remains a cornerstone for the franchise.

“She’s had some great games, and she’s had some games like everybody else that haven’t been her best,” Pagliocca said. “But she’s our best chance at versatility on this roster. We need more production out of her, but we need her to help us in other ways, too… She knows we need to use her in a variety of ways.”

As Reese becomes more comfortable at the pro level, Chicago is betting on her to be a driving force in turning the season around.
