San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo are expecting their first child. Culpo, a former Miss Universe winner, recently posted a video of the couple talking about her baby bump. However, the clip didn’t end well for McCaffrey and has since gone viral.
NFL Power Couple Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo Make Viral Video
McCaffrey and Culpo began their relationship in 2019 after the running back liked one of the latter’s Instagram posts. They were spotted on vacation together that summer, and Culpo began showing up at Carolina Panthers’ (McCaffrey’s team at the time) games that fall.
They became an official couple during that season, and quickly appeared in each other’s social media posts. McCaffrey even shot a spread of Culpo for Vogue in 2020. They got a dog together, and the running back named his boat “Olivia” after his girlfriend.
They stayed together through McCaffrey’s trade to San Francisco, and Culpo explained why she broke her rule to never date another athlete in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight.”
She said, “He’s just the best, I feel like he is really everything that I could ever ask for. So I never have to worry about anything. I think that was the reason why I didn’t want to date an athlete, no offense, because there is a reputation there.”
The couple got engaged in the spring of 2023 during a vacation in Utah, and had an engagement party later that summer. They were married last summer and announced they were pregnant earlier this year.
Culpo recently posted a video where she pretended to “kill” McCaffrey after he insulted the size of her baby bump. MLFootball’s X account posted the viral clip.
The clip starts with Culpo asking McCaffrey, “Can you believe the baby is the size of a pineapple?” To which he responds, “No way — your belly is way bigger than the size of a pineapple.”

It then cuts to Culpo trying to pull McCaffrey’s body out of the room by his ankles. The running back has a shopping bag over his head to cover up where Culpo “killed” him.
McCaffrey is Ready For Fatherhood After Rough Season
McCaffrey’s 2024 did not go as planned. He missed the first eight games with a sore Achilles, then missed the final five after suffering a PCL injury in Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills.
When healthy, McCaffrey is one of the NFL’s most explosive players and will be hoping for a bounce-back season in 2025. Hopefully, the soon-to-be first-time dad can handle life with a baby.
