With back-to-back explosive performances, Wilson is not only powering the Aces through tough matchups but also putting herself squarely back in the spotlight.
A’ja Wilson Earns Spot on PFSN’s Player of the Week List After Dominant Showing
Following her dominant performances, Wilson has landed on PFSN’s WNBA Players of the Week list, and it’s hard to argue with the choice. Recently, Wilson has been extraordinary, and if Las Vegas is going to make another run at the title, she will be the engine — and this week, she’s revving at full speed.
Wilson was especially dominant during the Aces’ 96-81 win over the Los Angeles Sparks on May 30. In that game, Wilson exploded for 35 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, three steals, and three blocks.
Thus far through the 2025 WNBA season, the three-time MVP is averaging 22.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.3 steals, and 2.7 blocks per game while shooting 47.1% from the floor. And she’s doing it with remarkable efficiency of 92.5% from the free-throw line and scoring in double figures every game she’s played so far.
According to ESPN, she leads her team in every major statistical category — points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. That’s undoubtedly superstar stuff.
Wilson Continues To Make History in 2025
On Tuesday, June 3, the WNBA officially named Wilson the Western Conference Player of the Week. It’s the 23rd time she’s received that honor. Only three legends in WNBA history have won more times than Wilson: Tina Charles, Candace Parker, and Elena Delle Donne.

Wilson powered the Aces to a perfect 2-0 record this past week, averaging 27 points, 10 rebounds, 4.5 assists, three steals, and 3.5 blocks across both wins. She also shot an efficient 52.5% from the field, showing just how locked in she’s been on both ends of the floor.
Wilson’s 35-point outing against the Sparks now ranks as the third-highest scoring performance in the WNBA this year, which is a reminder of just how dangerous she can be when she gets going.
