Many fans assume the Indiana Fever head coach is currently married, but that isn’t quite true. White is currently in a relationship with none other than celebrated ESPN reporter Lisa Salters.
Salters is a veteran journalist and a familiar face to sports fans nationwide. Born on March 6, 1966, in King of Prussia, Penn., Salters is now 59 years old and at the peak of a remarkable career.
She began her journey in journalism in the 1990s as a West Coast correspondent for NewsOne, but her real breakthrough came in 2000 when she joined ESPN as a general assignment reporter.
Over the years, she’s become a cornerstone of NFL coverage, especially known for her work on “Monday Night Football”, where she has earned the trust and admiration of viewers and players alike.
Moreover, Salters’ resume is nothing short of impressive. In 2023, she won her first Sports Emmy in the “Outstanding Personality/Reporter” category. Her contributions to sports journalism were also recognized when she was inducted into the Montgomery County Hall of Fame back in 2017.

“I really didn’t know who she was. She didn’t start building her fame until her sophomore year. We started dating when we were sophomores, and from there, we just clicked,” said McCarty about their first meeting at Seeger High School.
