Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, recently found herself in the presence of Roger Federer during her trip to Paris.

Riddle was there to support Fritz in his campaign at the 2025 French Open. Fritz and Riddle have been together for five years now, dating back to 2020.

Why Did Morgan Riddle Connect Roger Federer’s Presence in Paris?

Riddle is a Los Angeles-based social media influencer whose content focuses on her love for fashion and tennis. She often shares her travels to tournaments around the world, supporting the World No. 4 wherever he plays.

During her visit to Paris, Riddle stopped by the Louvre, France’s national museum and art gallery. She shared a photo of the museum’s ornate ceiling, which included an “R.F.” motif. It was a playful reference to Roger Federer’s iconic initials.

“They knew,” Riddle captioned her Instagram story.

Federer was also in Paris to attend the special farewell ceremony for Rafael Nadal at the French Open, which was held on May 26, 2025, at Roland-Garros’ Court Philippe-Chatrier.

How Did Taylor Fritz Perform at the French Open 2025?

Leading up to the 2025 French Open, Taylor Fritz played in several clay-court tournaments. He started at the Madrid Open, reaching the fourth round but losing to the eventual champion, Casper Ruud. Next came the Italian Open, where he fell in the second round to fellow American Marcos Giron.

Fritz then competed at the Geneva Open, advancing to the quarterfinals before losing to eventual runner-up Hubert Hurkacz.

At Roland Garros, Fritz was seeded fourth but suffered an early exit. He lost in the first round to Daniel Altmaier with a scoreline of 5-7, 6-3, 3-6, 1-6.

Following the defeat, the World No. 4 shared a photo of himself from the tournament on social media, admitting the loss “hurt.” He described the early exit as “brutal” but promised to use the setback as fuel to improve.

“Not gonna lie, this one hurts. Came into Roland Garros with high expectations but I didn’t deliver it. Losing early is brutal, but it’s part of the game. All I can do is use this extra time to work and get back to the level that I know I should be at 💪🏻,” Fritz wrote in the caption.

Looking ahead, Fritz is expected to start his grass-court season at the 2025 BOSS Open in Stuttgart, Germany. The tournament runs from June 9 to June 15, 2025, at the Tennis Club Weissenhof.
