After making strides in the world of tennis, Spanish star Paula Badosa has now ventured into entrepreneurship with the launch of her jewelry brand, Aces. The announcement has drawn admiration from fellow tour player Emma Raducanu, who’s shared a brief reaction to show her support.
With the major announcement, Badosa joins a growing list of tennis players who have ventured into business and channeled their on-court prominence into entrepreneurial pursuits. American tennis legend Serena Williams, four-time Major champion Naomi Osaka, and 24-time Slam winner Novak Djokovic are some of the notable names in this list.

Badosa’s brand, Aces, offers a diverse range of jewelry collections, including Vida, Aura, and Alma. Moreover, the Spaniard herself, stars in the latest photoshoot to promote her brand operating in collaboration with the 1916 Company.

Paula Badosa on Her Return: “I’m Happy To Be Back”
The 2025 season has proved challenging for Badosa, with a recurring back injury disrupting her campaign. Consequently, she pulled out of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, withdrew before her fourth-round match at the Miami Open, and issued last-minute withdrawals ahead of her campaigns in Madrid and Rome.
Badosa has resumed her campaign at the ongoing Internationaux de Strasbourg. The 27-year-old started her run against Marie Bouzkova in the second round. The Czech retired at 3-3 in the first set because of a left thigh injury, handing Badosa a quarterfinal entry.
Badosa’s second-round clash against Bouzkova in Strasbourg was notably her first in two months. Though the former World No. 2 felt sorry for the Czech’s unexpected exit, she was happy to be back in action. She, however, admitted that she was “far from her level.”
“I’m happy to be back after two months. It was a tough journey, so finally being back and getting minutes on court, I really appreciate it. I’m still very far from my level, but hopefully I can be there soon,” she said during her on-court interview.
Badosa will face No. 8 seed Liudmila Samsonova for a place in the semifinals, where the winner awaits either Emma Raducanu, Danielle Collins, Jessica Pegula, or Anna Kalinskaya. Raducanu has set up a second-round clash with Collins after a dominant 6-1, 6-3 win against Daria Kasatkina.
