Who are Allen and Kimberly Graham? Find out everything there is to know about the parents of star Michigan prospect Mason Graham.

Mason Graham has been lighting the world on fire with some exceptional work on the defensive front line for the Michigan Wolverines. Over his three-year collegiate tenure, he has solidified himself as a legitimate candidate to be a top-five selection, and he should be a valuable addition on any team that he joins.

Graham was a finalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award in 2024 after recording 3.5 sacks in 12 games. The case could easily be made that he was the best defender in the country. So, before he takes over NFL Sundays, let’s take a closer look at the two people who shaped both his life and his career.

Meet Mason Graham’s Parents, Allen and Kimberly Graham

Born to the couple in September of 2003, Graham showcased a strong talent on the field right from his high school years, and his parents were ready to support his dreams to play football professionally.

His father, Allen Graham, is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University and has experience working at Wastequip as a regional sales manager. With a degree in business administration to boot, he has a good educational background to support his son.

With the work Mason was doing as a 4-year-old on the soccer field, it was Allen who took the advice of others to make sure he could thrive on the football field, telling The Michigan Daily: “He wasn’t shying away from contact. So some people recommended, said, ‘Oh man, he’d be a great football player.'”

From there, the Graham family was ready to support Mason’s dreams, and today, he seems like a lock to be an NFL star. Additionally, the elder Graham also revealed the mentality his son played with on the field.

“Don’t get me wrong, he liked the attention, he liked that people noticed him or that he was doing good at something,” Allen said to The Michigan Daily. “But he wasn’t posting stuff on social media. He wasn’t a ‘look at me’ guy. He just wanted to be one of the guys, always, to be part of the team. He didn’t want to be singled out.”

On the other hand, not a lot is publicly known about his mother, Kimberly Graham. During his soccer-to-football transition — along with stints playing rugby, baseball, and basketball — she does have some fond memories of his work on the field.

“He was plowing people over, knocking the air out of them just thinking it was the greatest thing in the world,” she told The Free Press. “I remember after a couple of games his coach came up to us and said, ‘I think you’ve got him signed up for the wrong sport.’”

But it hasn’t just been about helping him choose a sport. That was virtually a guarantee in their household, Allen confessed.

“In our household, you’re not going to just sit at home,” Allen said. “You’ve got to be doing something, so make sure you’re doing what you like.”

Over a three-year run at Michigan, Graham became a pillar of consistency. He totaled 45 tackles (seven for loss) and 3.5 sacks in his final year for the Wolverines. His draft stock rose higher and higher thanks to a legendary stretch that included a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2023.
