The 2025 NFL Draft is perceived to lack blue-chip talent. While that may make the draft itself less than exciting, it will make things very interesting when it comes to watching the trajectory of these players.
One of those players who seems to have a lower floor but has a higher ceiling is former Stanford wide receiver Elic Ayomanor. He has earned the attention of fans and scouts alike, which has prompted questions about his dating life.
Does Elic Ayomanor Have a Girlfriend?
Ayomanor is a native Canadian. He grew up in Alberta, but came to the United States for high school. He was a track star as well as a football player with numerous scholarship offers, and he ultimately chose Stanford.
It’s hard to tell if Ayomanor is just intensely private or if he’s so busy working on his football career that he doesn’t have time for a girlfriend, but there’s no evidence of one online.
His Instagram account, which has nearly 11,000 followers, focuses solely on his football journey. There are no photos or posts that indicate Ayomanor has a love interest in his life.
In addition, he has not appeared in any social media posts from others saying that he is their significant other.
What Can the NFL Expect From Elic Ayomanor?
Ayomanor emerged as a household name after an exceptional performance against one of the top prospects in the upcoming draft, Colorado’s Travis Hunter, in 2023.
Colorado got off to a blazing start, and Stanford found themselves losing 29-0 at halftime. Then, suddenly, in the second half, the ball began finding its way into Ayomanor’s hands.
It started with Stanford’s defense forcing a Colorado punt, and then Ayomanor caught a quick pass that he took 97 yards for a touchdown. After another forced punt, Ayomanor caught the ball right in front of a surprised Hunter’s face, picking up a 60-yard touchdown.
And on and on it went. By the end of the game, which Stanford won in double overtime, Ayomanor was the hero. He finished with 13 receptions for 294 yards and three touchdowns.
According to PFSN’s scouting report on Ayomanor, he is a “big-bodied ‘X’ receiver” who performs best out wide. He has a solid frame that is suited to the physical nature of the NFL.
He does have occasional issues with drops and “has a tendency to make the hard catches look easy and the easy catches look hard.”
“If you’re looking for a polished route-running technician, Ayomanor might not be your first choice. He’s a bit high coming into his breaks and doesn’t have the explosiveness in his lower half to consistently create separation.”
He may be more of a project than teams want from a player who is taken on Day 1, which is why he wasn’t selected in the first round. However, he is a worthwhile gamble with a high ceiling.
“Year 1 might not be pretty for Ayomanor, but the ceiling is high for him down the line,” according to PFSN’s scouting report. “Though I would not say he’s polished enough to be a first-round pick, his combination of size, youth, production, play strength and speed give him upside worth betting on in Day 2.”
When Ayomanor arrives in the pros, he will have even more eyes on him than ever — and perhaps he’ll find love.
