A big-bodied weapon who broke out in 2024, TCU wide receiver Jack Bech has propelled himself into one of the top players at his position in the 2025 NFL Draft. He comes from a football background, so let’s get to know his parents in detail.
Who Are Jack Bech’s Parents?
Bech was born on Dec. 18, 2002, to parents Martin and Michelle Bech, both of whom are LSU Graduates. He had a brother named Tiger, a former Princeton football player, who lost his life in the tragic New Orleans Truck attack. Jack has two sisters, Virginia and Sophie Bech.
Jack’s uncles, Brett and Blain Bech, played football at LSU, while his aunt, Brenna Bech, was on the Tigers’ first soccer team.
Jack’s parents have played an instrumental role in his career, and they are the reason he wants to pursue a career in the NFL. The receiver also hopes to raise a family like his parents raised him.
“My parents have done so much for me that I can’t even begin to list it all. One of the greatest lessons I have taken from them is their joint spirit of resiliency. They taught me to keep pushing through no matter what the circumstances are,” he wrote in a letter honoring his faith, family, and football after declaring for the draft.
“…Life is gonna hit you — that is inevitable. But what separates people who succeed is whether or not you can stand up and keep fighting back. I know I will get knocked down again and again, but because of the strong morals I was raised with, I’m a fighter.
“One of the reasons I want to play football at the next level is to give back to my parents and show them that everything they did for me paid off. I pray every morning for the possibility of joining the NFL to help support not only my family but also my future wife and kids.
“My biggest life goal beyond playing professional football is to raise a happy family the way my parents raised me. I never want my kids to doubt how much their parents love them and each other. I hope to give my kids everything they’ve ever wanted and more, show them what kindness is, teach them good morals, and love them with everything I have in me.”
Jack was devastated by losing his brother, who was excited to be with him at the 2025 NFL Draft. The receiver has “7 to Heaven” tattooed on his chest (No. 7 was Tiger’s jersey number), in addition to a set of Roman numerals representing Tiger’s birth and death dates.
“They’re only on the left side of my body, because he was my other half,” Jack said.
Bech is a smart receiver who can win inside or outside, and with his physicality and ball skills, he could be a good WR3 at the next level. With that projection, he is expected to be a Round 3 selection.
