NFL Outlook, Scouting Report

McMillan’s production and tools have him projected as a first-round pick. Pro Football Sports Network’s 2025 NFL Mock Draft has him going No. 19 overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In his scouting report, PFSN’s Brentley Weissman says McMillan brings great size and athleticism to the field. He’s versatile — lining up outside, in the slot, or even next to the tight end — to create mismatches against smaller defenders.

Often compared to the Falcons’ Drake London, McMillan uses his size and catch radius like a power forward in basketball. He positions himself well to win contested catches and is a major red-zone threat.

What makes McMillan different from most big-bodied receivers is his fluidity. He gets in and out of breaks with ease and shows surprising quickness for his size, sinking his hips and changing direction without trouble.

He’s also a weapon after the catch. McMillan combines strength and physicality with sudden movement and strong instincts, making defenders miss.

Overall, while he may not have burner speed, McMillan’s size, body control, and ball skills make him a high-volume target who can thrive in the red zone at the next level.
