‘He Would Be a Fail’ – Bears Fans Make Urgent Plea To Stay Away From Kliff Kingsbury To Replace Matt Eberflus

Chicago Bears fans harshly reject Kliff Kingsbury potentially joining the team as the new head coach.

The Chicago Bears fired head coach Matt Eberflus on Black Friday following the team’s disappointing 23-20 loss against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.

The Caleb Williams-led Bears currently sit with a 4-8 record, which is surprising to some, given the hype around the No. 1 overall draft pick. While Williams has been successful in showcasing his potential during his rookie year, he hasn’t gotten the support that he needs from his teammates, which ultimately contributed to the Bears cutting ties from Eberflus.

The Bears will now look for another head coach to take the charge. While fans may not know exactly who they want, they do know exactly who they don’t.

Fans React to Kliff Kingsbury Possibly Coaching the Bears

One of the names making the headlines to replace Eberflus following his firing is USC’s former senior offensive analyst Kliff Kingsbury, who coached Williams during his second year with the Trojans. Kingsbury also acted as the Arizona Cardinals head coach from 2019-2022.

Despite his résumé, however, Bears fans do not want Kingsbury to be their next coach.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport shared where the Bears currently stand in their search and said, “So here is where they stand. Thomas Brown, former offensive coordinator, now becomes the interim head coach. He, of course, will get a look at some point about being the permanent coach.

“Ryan Poles, expected to stay as GM and help Kevin Warren run the search for what should be a really coveted opening. I expect them to look at all the top candidates for Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn and Mike Vrabel. But here’s an interesting name to watch, Kliff Kingsbury, of course, worked with Caleb Williams at USC, now thriving as OC with the Commanders, certainly one to keep an eye on.”

“Kingsbury would be a fail. He fades out every season. Go with Brian Johnson please,” one fan reacted.

“Honest to god if we hire Kliff Kingsbury Im revoking my fan card that might just be enough for me,” another fan reacted.

“Kliff is as and watch in season hard knocks when he was the cardinals coach. Not HC material,” another fan rejected the idea.

“No thanks on Kingsbury. If offensive, it’s Johnson. If defensive, it’s Vrabel,” another fan stated.

“Top Cadidates” and “Kliff Kingsbury” should never been in the same paragraph let alone the same sentence,” another fan said.

“Poles hiring Kliff after passing on him would be the dumbest thing ever. Go hire young leader like Marcus Freeman or go get “The Coach responsible for Caleb’s success” in Lincoln Riley,” another fan pointed out.

“Did people just forget how bad Kliff was for the Cardinals? It was a disaster towards the end. As well as the commanders offense looking horrendous the last 4-5 weeks,” another fan added.
