With Super Bowl 58 in the books, are there any NFL games today?
The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs went head-to-head in Super Bowl 58 as the Chiefs established themselves as the newest dynasty in the NFL. What does this mean for the 2024 NFL schedule and the future league action? Here’s everything we know for the 2024 NFL season.
NFL Games Today: Is There Sunday Night Football?
Unfortunately, with the conclusion of Super Bowl 58, there are no more NFL games until the start of the 2024 season. So far, the only officially known date is the start of the 2024 regular season. The back-to-back NFL champions, the Chiefs, will open the campaign with an opponent to be announced.
The Chiefs hope to continue their momentum from the 2023 season and become the first NFL team to complete the three-peat. While they matched the New England Patriots as the newest team to win back-to-back Super Bowls, a three-peat would set the Chiefs apart in NFL history, as no one has accomplished the feat.

If the Chiefs make some offseason adjustments, a new record is firmly in their future. Kansas City’s Super Bowl run was fueled by QB Patrick Mahomes first top-10 offense. If partnered with more reliable offensive weapons, HC Andy Reid and the Chiefs could put together an impenetrable Super Bowl contender.
While RB Isiah Pacheco found his footing as the season progressed, some solid hands in the receiving room would pay dividends. Can the Chiefs recruit some talent out wide this season, or will they have to resort to the draft to find another reliable pass catcher like rookie WR Rashee Rice? Any help would bolster the Chiefs’ chances.
