The Philadelphia Eagles entered Monday night’s Wild Card game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers without WR1 A.J. Brown. Their wideout depth may have taken a further hit during the second quarter of tonight’s contest when fellow pass catcher Julio Jones went down with an apparent injury.
Julio Jones Injury Update
Jones was shaken up after taking a shot from Bucs defensive back Zyon McCollum with roughly five minutes remaining in the first half. He had to be helped off the field and immediately entered the blue medical tent on Philadelphia’s sideline.
The Eagles announced that Jones was being evaluated for a concussion. He was ruled out for the remainder of the game at halftime.

With Brown sidelined by a knee injury, Jones drew the start opposite DeVonta Smith on Monday night. He’d hauled in three catches for 22 yards before departing.
Jones, 34, signed with the Eagles’ practice squad in mid-October and maxed out his elevations before being added to the club’s active roster. He finished the season with 11 receptions for 74 yards and three touchdowns on 19 targets. Jones played more than 30 snaps in just two games.
