Zack Martin
Martin is dealing with a quad injury he sustained on Sunday against the Bills.
He was ruled out of the game after the injury occurred in the first half.
On Monday, Mike McCarthy said he Martin had a chance to play against the Dolphins but didn’t give a definite answer.
However, in a press conference on Wednesday, McCarthy said Martin and Hooker would work with the rehab group on Wednesday. The veteran was listed as not participating at all during practice.
Rookie T.J. Bass stepped in at the right guard position in Martin’s absence on Sunday. Bass usually takes practice reps in Martin’s place during the week during his weekly veteran rest days.
Johnathan Hankins
Hankins is dealing with a high ankle sprain he suffered two weeks ago against the Philadelphia Eagles.

There is still no timeline for his return, but on Wednesday, McCarthy said the veteran defensive tackle was “doing better” but added he would be “hard-pressed” to play this week.

Malik Hooker
Hooker has been dealing with an ankle injury for the last two weeks.
The injury has impacted his practice availability over that span.

It was a game-time decision for Hooker to be ruled out against the Bills.
In his place, second-year safety Juanyeh Thomas stepped in, but Hooker’s veteran leadership and experience in a banged-up safety room are needed.
Tyron Smith and Tony Pollard
The extent of Smith’s back injury and when it occurred are unclear. It is worth noting that he didn’t miss a snap against the Bills on Sunday.
Smith usually takes a veteran rest day on Wednesday, so seeing his practice status as the week continues will be interesting.
As for Pollard, he popped up on the injury report with a thumb injury but fully participated in practice. Although it doesn’t seem worrisome, it is something to watch.
An update from McCarthy on Smith and Pollard will come on Thursday ahead of the team’s practice.
