Monday Night Football tonight is back with a special doubleheader feature for Week 14. Both games will kick off simultaneously tonight as the Tennessee Titans travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins, and the Green Bay Packers travel to New Jersey to take on Tommy DeVito and the New York Giants.
Both games have intrigue for their own reasons as a couple of playoff teams are squaring off against a couple of teams playing young quarterbacks still looking to prove themselves. Plus, it’s a double feature of Monday Night Football, and that in and of itself is awesome.
Who Plays on Monday Night Football Tonight?
Game 1
- Teams: Tennessee Titans vs. Miami Dolphins
- Location:Â Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida
Game 2
- Teams: Green Bay Packers vs. New York Giants
- Location:Â MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
The 4-8 Titans travel to Miami to take on the explosive 9-3 Dolphins in a matchup that promises to have high-flying offensive action. Miami head coach Mike McDaniel has the Dolphins firing on all cylinders and are looking to come out Monday night and prove that that there is no doubt about just who the class of the AFC is right now.
As for the Titans, it’s another opportunity for rookie QB Will Levis to prove his legitimacy against a good team in a prime-time spot.
While the Titans haven’t been officially eliminated from the playoffs just yet, every game from here on out can be used as an assessment as Tennessee looks to the future with what they hope is their starting quarterback for years to come.
Game 2 pits a red-hot Packers team against a perplexing — but fun — Giants team. Green Bay comes into the night 6-6 and winners of three in a row, looking to add their fourth in a row as they continue their fight for an NFC playoff spot.

For the Giants, it’s another crack at the spotlight for Tommy “Cutlets,” as the homegrown Giants QB is getting the nod over veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor despite being activated off of injured reserve earlier in the week.
New York is not mathematically eliminated from the playoffs just yet, but the sense is that they’re looking to learn all they can about the young guys on the roster while also relishing being spoilers at the same time.
