Odell Beckham Jr. Injury Update

Beckham took a brutal hit from Cardinals safety Budda Baker after attempting to catch an overthrown pass. Baker’s knee appeared to hit Beckham’s abdomen.

OBJ left the field with medical personnel and subsequently departed for the Ravens’ locker room. Notably, Beckham was able to jog to the locker room, but the club’s medical staff accompanied him.

The Ravens announced that OBJ is dealing with a stomach contusion and listed him as questionable to return.

Fortunately, Beckham returned to the game in the fourth quarter and received an endzone target.

Beckham, who joined Baltimore on a one-year, $15 million deal this offseason, suffered an ankle injury in Week 2 and missed the club’s next two games. He’s posted 14 receptions on 22 targets for 162 scoreless yards.

Fantasy Fallout From Beckham’s Injury

Beckham was having a rough day before suffering an injury against the Cardinals, failing to haul in any of his four targets in the contest. He was coming off a season-high five receptions for 49 yards in Week 7 but has otherwise failed to make much of a fantasy impact this season.

Lamar Jackson has targeted OBJ more than four times in just one game this year. If Beckham misses any time in the coming weeks, expect Mark Andrews, Zay Flowers, and Rashod Bateman to get more work.
