After going through a miserable 5-12 season following their Super Bowl LVI win, expectations are fairly low for the Los Angeles Rams this season. But they have given the Seattle Seahawks tough games recently. Will Sunday prove to be another tight contest? Let’s dive into the betting odds.

Game Prediction
The Seahawks had a successful first season without quarterback Russell Wilson, getting back to the playoffs after a one-year absence. They finished 9-8, but close games were the norm for the Seahawks, it seemed, as nine of their 17 games were decided by 7 points or less.
Included in those nine games were two wins over the Rams by a combined total of y points. And despite the Rams’ disastrous 2022 season, when they followed up a Super Bowl title with just five wins, the fact they kept both meetings with the Seahawks close leads me to think Week 1 will be the same.
The Rams showed they at least had some heart, covering four of their final six games, including both meetings with Seattle.
Cooper Kupp is out for the Rams, but L.A. still has Matthew Stafford at quarterback and Aaron Donald on the defensive line. And while the Seahawks still have key players like QB Geno Smith, WR DK Metcalf, and RB Kenneth Walker, being a favorite was not a role where they excelled last season, going just 1-5 ATS as a favorite (1-4 ATS as a home favorite).
This may be a rough season for the Rams, but it is Week 1, and I think they’ll have just enough to keep it close.
