Sunday, Jan. 22
Cincinnati Bengals (3) at Buffalo Bills (2)
- Channel: CBS
- Start time: 3 p.m. ET
- Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV
The Divisional Round NFL games today schedule resumes on Sunday with what is sure to be an emotional game no matter the outcome. The Bills escaped Wild Card Weekend by the skin of their teeth. Facing the seventh-seed Miami Dolphins, who fielded a rookie third-string QB, Buffalo scraped by with a 34-31 win thanks to some questionable play-calling and clock management from rookie HC Mike McDaniel.
Things only get more challenging as Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals come to town. This game would be a regular-season rematch. However, the injury to Damar Hamlin forced the NFL to stop the Week 17 game and ultimately cancel it later in the week. Emotions will be high, but the Bengals have looked like the better team over the last few weeks of the season.

Finishing the season on an eight-game win streak, the Bengals fought through injuries to offensive playmakers. At the same time, defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo has his defense firing on all cylinders at the perfect time.
The Bills ended the season on their own seven-game win streak. However, some critical injuries on defense and Josh Allen doing too much at times have highlighted Buffalo’s weaknesses. This matchup should be a fun and exciting matchup between two great football teams.
Dallas Cowboys (5) at San Francisco 49ers (2)
- Channel: FOX
- Start time: 6:30 p.m. ET
- Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now
The weekend’s final game sees the Dallas Cowboys traveling to Levi’s Stadium to take on the San Francisco 49ers. This matchup harkens back to memories of the NFC postseason in the 80s and 90s when the Cowboys and 49ers dominated the conference. From Super Bowl 16 through Super Bowl 30, the 49ers or Cowboys represented the NFC eight times in the big game.
They’ve also met in the NFC postseason seven times, where the Cowboys have dominated with a record of 5-2. Getting that sixth win will be challenging, as the 49ers have one of the more complete teams in the NFL right now. Despite being a rookie seventh-round pick, Brock Purdy has quickly stepped into Kyle Shanahan’s offense. His ability to extend plays with his legs has added a new dimension to an already vaunted 49ers system.

Dallas also has a capable offense, with Dak Prescott playing one of his best games of the season during Super Wild Card Weekend. Unfortunately for the Cowboys, the 49ers’ defense is surging and ready for another dominant performance. The pass rush is unrelenting, and the unit was top five in yards and points allowed per game.
Unless Dallas’ defense can make Purdy unsteady, San Francisco should be headed to their second straight NFC Championship Game.
Saturday, Jan. 21
Jacksonville Jaguars (4) at Kansas City Chiefs (1)
- Channel: NBC
- Start time: 4:30 p.m. ET
- Live stream: NBC Sports, Peacock TV
The Divisional Round NFL games today kick off at Arrowhead Stadium when the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the AFC’s top-seeded Kansas City Chiefs. These two squared off back in Week 10, where the Chiefs beat the Jaguars 27-17. Heading into the bye week, the Jaguars were 3-7 and on the verge of another lost season. But after winning six of the last seven games, Jacksonville usurped the Titans and snuck into the postseason.
MORE: Jaguars vs. Chiefs Prediction, Odds, and Picks for Divisional Round
While Jacksonville comes into this matchup thrilled after completing a 27-point comeback to take down the Chargers in Super Wild Card Weekend, the Chiefs are a much tougher outing. Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes has continued to play at a top-tier level despite shuffling offensive weapons last offseason.
Unlike in 2021, the defense wasted no time playing to their potential as the Chiefs have gotten consistent pressure in the pocket this year. Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars may make it a close game, but the Chiefs return to their fifth straight AFC Championship Game.
New York Giants (6) at Philadelphia Eagles (1)
- Channel: FOX
- Start time: 8:15 p.m. ET
- Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now
The Divisional Round treats fans with the third installment of the New York Giants vs. the Philadelphia Eagles, the second at Lincoln Financial Field. These two NFC East foes went toe to toe twice within the last five weeks of the season, with Philadelphia sweeping the regular-season series and now looking to make it 3-0.
The Giants have had a fantastic season spurred by the coaching change in the 2022 offseason. Brain Daboll transformed an underperforming roster into a competitive team. The Giants face far fewer questions heading into this offseason than last, and the culture Daboll has instilled is a testament to that.
Unfortunately, New York faces an Eagles team fresh off the postseason bye with Super Bowl-or-bust aspirations. Jalen Hurts and company look much more like themselves this time than Week 18 as the Eagles cruise their way into the NFC Championship Game.
