The Jacksonville Jaguars‘ 53-man roster has improved significantly from a season ago. However, the even more significant upgrade comes at the head coach position. But just how much can this team improve from a season ago?
Jacksonville Jaguars 53-man roster projection
It will be refreshing to see a healthy Travis Etienne after his rookie season was deleted by a Lisfranc injury. The receiving corps was a massive issue a season ago, but that shouldn’t be as much of an issue after adding Zay Jones and Christian Kirk.
Starters will be annotated with asterisks.

The offensive line is still a work-in-progress on the Jaguars’ 53-man roster. Doug Pederson will do everything he can to help get the ball out of Lawrence’s hand quickly. We’ve seen backs and tight ends produce well during his time in Philadelphia.
Jacksonville’s defensive backfield upgraded in free agency also. Adding Williams as the third cornerback was a fantastic addition to the roster. We’ve already seen the Jaguars’ front seven in action against the Pittsburgh Steelers. If it can remain dominant, this secondary could generate quite a few turnovers in 2022.
