All-Pro veteran linebacker Bobby Wagner chose the powerful draw of remaining on the West Coast and playing for the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams.
The former Seattle Seahawks standout has signed a five-year contract with a base value of $50 million and a maximum value of $65 million, per a league source.
Bobby Wagner signs with Los Angeles Rams
Wagner, 31, an eight-time Pro Bowl selection, had visited the Baltimore Ravens and considered their offer, believed to be roughly $7 million annually, before opting to go with the Rams.
The San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, and Washington Commanders also had interest in Wagner, per sources.
A six-time first-team All-Pro, Wagner had a career-high 170 tackles last season. Now, he joins Rams star defensive tackle Aaron Donald, a seven-time first-team All-Pro.
The rich get richer! Lose future HOF @VonMiller and gain future HOF @Bwagz. The @Ravens made a last min push but the Reigning champs @RamsNFL were too good to pass up.

Wagner had previously said goodbye to the Seahawks on Twitter.
“Thank you Seattle for everything,” he wrote. “It will forever be my home. Crazy part about all this. I played there for 10 years & I didn’t even hear it from them that I wasn’t coming back.”
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider have publicly apologized for that oversight in communication.
