Week 2 of the fantasy football season is almost over, but there’s still one last game to look to for a miracle finish. Here are some last-minute adjustments to keep an eye on heading into the Monday Night Football game.
Fantasy Football: MNF Lineup Changes (Week 2)
Browns at Jets
If you drafted guys like Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham, Jr., or Nick Chubb, you’re definitely playing them tonight. New York Jets RB Le’Veon Bell is also in your lineup as long as he’s healthy, but keep an eye on it. He could end up being a late scratch, thus paving the way for Ty Montgomery to see some added time. If Montgomery is available and you have someone like Trevon Wesco, Bilal Powell, or Antonio Callaway still riding your bench, drop them and pick him up, even if you don’t have Bell. Even if Montgomery doesn’t get a full workload he’s worth rostering in case Bell goes from good to bad tonight and they need to spell him more in the coming weeks.
Some riskier players like Ryan Griffin, Demaryius Thomas, and Dontrell Hilliard are all options if you’re down big and need a spark, or if you just don’t think a guy like Montgomery or Landry will do enough to get you the win. Hopefully, you put your MNF players like Montgomery or Landry in your flex for this week to give you more options for your roster if you need a hail mary to win. Look for Trevor Siemian to check down to his TE often and lean on veteran Thomas when he’s in trouble, and look for the Cleveland Browns to go up early and run out the clock with Hilliard down the stretch.
