‘Jayden [Daniels], Don’t Sue Me,’ ‘Can’t Spell Lawsuit Without LSU’ — Tigers Get Ruthlessly Roasted on College GameDay

LSU has become a punching bag and the college football world let the Tigers, including former QB Jayden Daniels, have it on College GameDay

College GameDay hit the road for the first time on Saturday when they traveled to Baton Rouge for the clash between Clemson and LSU on Saturday night. Since the season came to a close (and even a few weeks before that), LSU has been the center of the college football world.

It has been a wild offseason for the Tigers, led by the hiring of Lane Kiffin, and on Saturday, it all came to a head.

College Football World Roasts Jayden Daniels, LSU on College GameDay Ahead of Clemson Matchup

The Tigers started their offseason by firing Brian Kelly and hiring Kiffin. They then hit the transfer portal hard, spending a ridiculous amount of money to do all of this, and tried to bring NFL players into the program — and that doesn’t even account for the comments former Heisman winner Jayden Daniels has faced.

A spokesperson for Daniels’ family recently expressed disappointment that another LSU player, sophomore cornerback DJ Pickett, would be wearing the same #5 Daniels wore. The former Heisman winner has since been roasted for his stance.

The LSU roasts kept coming on Saturday.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel gave out his “early candidate for sign of the day” after seeing what was behind him as he reported from Baton Rouge Saturday morning. The sign read: ‘Jayden, Don’t sue me. I’m only 7.”

Thamel is right – that’s an absolutely fantastic sign and what this sport is all about.

Corey duBrowa pointed out another sign that also appeared behind Thamel, right above the 7-year-old worried about litigation.

“Can’t spell lawsuit without LSU,” the sign reads.

RaiderCam gave another look at the sign directed at Daniels.

These signs won over almost any fan who saw them.

Of the lawsuit sign, TJ Rusk said: “That sign, and the ‘Jayden don’t sue me, I’m only 7’ sign made me laugh.”

Even LSU fans like Ashley respected the work.

“YOU CAN’T SPELL LAWSUIT WITHOUT LSU,” she wrote.

Although fans want to celebrate the 500th episode of College GameDay, they weren’t able to get the 5 from Daniels.

“Celebrating show No. 499 + 1 on the road in Baton Rouge 💜💛,” College GameDay’s account posted.

Kiffin himself described the hate LSU is getting.

“A lot of times to do great things, you are going to be hated,” Kiffin said.

Despite the jokes, you want all eyes on you on a college football Saturday, especially when you’re trying to turn LSU back into a legitimate national title contender like Kiffin.

That’s certainly something Kiffin has been able to do without even coaching a game.
