Jared Goff is going 123.4 overall in PFN’s Fantasy Mock Draft Simulator, which makes him the QB16 there. He finished last season as the QB6. Goff leads a list of must-draft players for 2026!
Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football 2026?
Goff threw for 4,564 yards and 34 touchdowns against eight interceptions and has not finished worse than QB10 in any of his four healthy seasons in Detroit. “I just think he has way too many talented weapons to even fall that far from a fantasy scoring perspective,” PFN’s Jacob Infante said on The Hot List, and the weapons are there: Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Jahmyr Gibbs and a healthy Sam LaPorta. New coordinator Drew Petzing ran a 63.4% neutral pass rate in Arizona last year. Detroit was at 57.8%.
One piece of Infante’s case I would not lean on. He said the Lions offensive line got a little better this offseason. Detroit cut Graham Glasgow, released Taylor Decker, signed Cade Mays to play center, moved Penei Sewell to left tackle and is still choosing between Larry Borom and a rookie at right tackle. Goff was sacked 38 times in 2025. Detroit thinks it is an upgrade. I would wait to see it block.
Tucker Kraft at 72 Comes With a Snap Count
Tucker Kraft’s ADP is 72.0, and the PFN expert consensus has him 55th. Before he tore his right ACL in Week 9 against Carolina, Kraft caught 32 passes for 489 yards and six touchdowns in eight games. “If you extrapolate that over 17 games, that’s a pace of over 1,000 receiving yards,” Infante said. “And the only tight end to do that last year was Trey McBride.” The pace worked out to 1,038. McBride finished with 1,239.

Two things moved after Infante taped this. Luke Musgrave went on reserve/PUP with a neck injury, and Green Bay signed Jonnu Smith to cover, and the Packers have signaled Kraft’s snaps will be managed through roughly the first half of the season. He is cleared for full contact and expected to be a full go for Week 1 at Minnesota on Sept. 13.
Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks are both gone after combining for 131 targets and a 31.0% target share, so the volume is sitting there. I still take Kraft at 72. Just know the first month comes with a rep count.
Tetairoa McMillan Is the One I’d Pass On
Tetairoa McMillan caught 70 passes for 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie and won 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Infante has him at an ADP of 40.4. “I think McMillan has wide receiver one upside and a wide receiver two price tag,” he said. PFN’s own fantasy outlook has McMillan as the WR22 and says flatly that the writer does not plan on drafting him this year. I am with the outlook.
Bryce Young has averaged 28.7 pass attempts per game over two seasons under Dave Canales, and Carolina ranked 25th in passing yards last season at 183.2 per game. Jalen Coker signed a three-year extension in June and is healthy after missing six games. Infante says John Metchie III is the only receiver Carolina added, and third-round pick Chris Brazzell II tore his LCL and is out for the year. That still does not create throws.

Derrick Henry at 16.6 is fine. “He’s finished as at least a top six running back in each of the last six healthy seasons he’s had,” Infante said, and Henry was the RB7 in PPR points per game last year, his eighth straight season with double-digit rushing touchdowns. He turned 307 carries into 1,595 yards and 16 touchdowns at 32, and Baltimore did nothing this offseason to take work off his plate.
David Montgomery at 50.0 is the pick I would want most after Goff and Kraft. Houston traded a fourth-round pick, a seventh and Juice Scruggs to Detroit for him in March, then gave him a two-year, $16.5 million extension. Infante likes the competition better than Jahmyr Gibbs, and he should, but the Houston Chronicle reported the Montgomery-Woody Marks split ran close to even in camp. Montgomery took 61.5% of Detroit’s carries inside the 5 last season. Buy the goal line, not the workhorse role.
