Trevor Lawrence enters the 2026 season looking to build on the most productive fantasy campaign of his career. The former prodigy saw his fantasy value spike after the Jags acquired Jakobi Meyers last season, providing a boost in efficiency and consistency to the entire passing attack.
Should You Draft Trevor Lawrence in Fantasy Football?
Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars is on the way up.
This is a QB who had perhaps the most hype among recent prospects coming out of college. At Clemson, he dominated over that starting stretch for the Tigers. For a while, the beginning stretch of his career was pretty rocky. But now, after one year in Liam Coen’s offense, there is newfound room for optimism.
As of early September, he has an ADP of 89.8. His PFN rank between Kyle Soppe and Jason Katz is 89. He has a projected points per game of 17.7 this coming year and is currently ranked as the QB10 in the fantasy football cycle. In the final eight games last year, he came on strong. He threw 21 touchdowns and just 6 interceptions while averaging 258 passing yards over that stretch. On a yearly basis, he finished fourth in points per game in 2025 and was tied for second in rushing touchdowns with 9.
The Jaguars bring back Jakobi Meyers at wide receiver, emergent star Parker Washington, and a mostly healthy BTJ who’s definitely going to be looking for a bounceback. But they also have Brenton Strange, an up-and-coming tight end waiting in the wings who signed a big contract this past offseason as proof of the confidence they have in him in the offense. The weapons core is very, very strong for T-Law.
He’s also entering his second year in the same system for the first time in his NFL career. Once he settled into Liam Coen’s offense down the stretch last year, he put up some of the best film of his entire NFL career. There’s also an uncertain running back rotation, with Bhayshul Tuten shouldering more of a workload, which could place a greater load on the shoulders of Lawrence himself in the passing game. Lawrence ultimately looks primed to thrive in that scenario.
Overall, T-Law is an elite two-phase physical talent with sniper field vision, a fearless edge on tight-window throws, and the size-adjusted mobility of a gazelle. He has a full palette of weapons at his disposal with continuity on the offensive line. At QB10 and a fringe top-100 ADP, for me, T-Law feels like an incredible value with his combined passing volume and rushing production. He’s an easy target in both redraft and superflex leagues.

Trevor Lawrence’s Week 1 Fantasy Outlook

The 9 rushing touchdowns for Lawrence aren’t going to repeat (previous career high: 5), but I’m not sure it has to in order for him to be locked into fantasy lineups week in and week out.
He threw 3+ touchdown passes in three of four games to close the 2025 regular season and then did it again in the Wild Card loss to the Bills. He was sold to us as a generational prospect entering college and again when he took his talents to the pros … we finally saw proof of that after this team brought in Jakobi Meyers for the second half of last season.
This is a team with a diverse set of pass catchers and now, with Travis Etienne moving on to New Orleans, less stability on the ground. I think the run game can be league average, and that’s fine, but that also means that they will need to lean into Lawrence’s versatile skill set to move this offense down the field.
He can do it, and this is a good spot to see just how ready he is. In the midst of playing the best ball of his life, he picked apart a strong Broncos defense in December (279 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INT) with only one receiver being effective. That’s the catch here. QBs like Jayden Daniels can kill you with their arm or their legs. Lawrence, to a degree, can do that, but my intrigue is if he turned a page mentally and can now take full advantage of specific matchups for his quartet of receivers.
If the game is finally slowing down for him, we could see some serious numbers put on the board, and that would put him on those year-end lists when we look at which players were most common on fantasy champions.
The Browns are an above-average defense, but without Myles Garrett, the dynamic is a bit different. I think we get an eighth straight fantasy week where Lawrence finishes as a QB1.
