‘It’s Going To Be Crazy’ – Alexandra Eala Backed To Join Highest-Paid Players List in 2027 After Endorsement Surge

Alexandra Eala's growing popularity and massive endorsement deals could make her the second-highest-paid female athlete in the world by 2027.

Alexandra Eala’s breakthrough season has already been attracting attention beyond the tennis world. After her straight-sets win in the first round of the 2026 US Open, the 21-year-old Filipina is also drawing interest from the sports business world.

While stars like Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka remain among the sport’s highest-paid players, Eala is quickly building a strong commercial profile, backed by the huge support of fans in her home country, the Philippines. Unsurprisingly, her popularity has also helped drive a major rise in her earnings.

Alexandra Eala’s Rising Market Value Impresses Tennis Channel as Experts Predict Huge 2027

During a recent Tennis Channel broadcast, when the discussion turned to the world’s highest-paid players, analysts noted that Eala is not yet on the list but could soon make a big jump. Former ATP player Prakash Amritraj backed her to break into the list in 2027.

“I wanna see Eala in 2027 in this list. The way she’s moving right now next year, it’s going to be crazy,” Amritraj said.

Hall of Famer Lindsay Davenport also noted how often the World No. 18 is signing new endorsement deals. “Seems like every week we have a new deal that she signed with, right? Like a new endorsement,” Davenport said.

Broadcaster Brett Haber agreed, comparing Eala’s rise to Emma Raducanu’s surge in popularity a few years ago. “Yeah, we saw that happen to Raducanu a couple of years ago. It’s now happening to Eala,” Haber said.

Eala’s off-court earnings have already passed the $5 million mark over the past 12 months, according to Forbes. That comes on top of the $1.7 million she has earned on the court in 2026, taking her career prize money beyond $3 million. The scale of her endorsement deals is also notable.

Meanwhile, Forbes estimated that Gauff earned $25 million off the court in 2025, while Qinwen Zheng earned $21 million, respectively. However, on the highest-paid list, Sabalenka earned $36.1 million and Gauff $35.5 million, making them the two highest-paid current WTA players behind Serena Williams.

Amritraj pointed to the growing interest from brands, saying, “Any deal starts in the million-dollar range now for her because of the crazy eyeballs.”

Max Eisenbud, head of tennis at WME Sports/IMG, whose clients include Madison Keys, Maria Sharapova, Raducanu, and Iga Świątek, also backed Eala for a historic rise. “I feel very confident that by 2027, she will be the second-highest-paid female athlete in the world, behind Coco [Gauff],” Eisenbud said.

Her portfolio includes major Philippine companies such as Globe Telecom, where her mother previously served as CFO, and Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI). At the start of 2026, both brands renewed four-year agreements worth more than $1 million per year, with their logos featured as patches on Eala’s Nike kit.

Beyond tennis apparel, the DC Open champion also has influence through her fashion. Arriving in New York for the US Open, the fashion-forward star was seen carrying luxury items, including a Chanel bag, an Hermès bracelet, and a Cartier Tank watch.

Eala beat American Mary Stoiana 6-1, 6-2 on Tuesday night in her 2026 US Open debut. She will return to action Thursday against Ukraine’s Oleksandra Oliynykova at Louis Armstrong Stadium.
