‘Delusional at Its Finest’ — NBA World Loses It As Jalen Williams Crowns Himself and Cody the ‘Best Brother Duo’ Over Seth and Stephen Curry

Jalen Williams’ bold claim that he and Cody are better than Stephen and Seth Curry sparks a fierce reaction from NBA fans.

Jalen Williams has already established himself as one of the NBA’s rising stars, but his latest take has sparked plenty of debate. The Oklahoma City Thunder star boldly ranked himself and Cody Williams above some of the league’s most accomplished siblings, including Stephen and Seth Curry.

NBA Fans Reject Jalen Williams’ Wild Ranking of the League’s Best Brother Duos

Recently, Jalen Williams was asked to weigh in on every current brother duo in the NBA, including Lonzo and LaMelo Ball, Cam and Pat Spencer, Amen and Ausar Thompson, Franz and Mo Wagner, Keegan and Kris Murray, Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo, and Julian and Justin Champagnie.

However, on each occasion, Williams confidently backed himself and his brother Cody as the best brother duo in the league.

Beyond the aforementioned duos, Williams was also asked to compare himself and Cody with Stephen and Seth Curry.

The Thunder star did not hesitate when making his choice, once again putting him and Cody ahead of Stephen and Seth.

However, NBA fans were far from convinced by Williams’ take on the Curry comparison and quickly made their opinions known in the comment section.

“His brother ain’t do [expletive] so how tf u in ya bro a better duo then Steph/seth… delusional at its finest lol,” a comment read.

“Steph and Seth would have them in hell,” a fan claimed.

“Lmao Steph by himself is better than both of them combined. And the Thompson twins are miles ahead better than these two,” an observer noted.

Several fans also shifted their attention toward Cody, questioning his standing in the league.

“That’s real love because Cody is a [expletive],” one user remarked.

“Hell no,” another commented.

Cody finished last season with the Utah Jazz, averaging 8.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game across 67 appearances. He was recently traded from the Jazz to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

As for Jalen, he has clearly established himself as the more accomplished of the two Williams brothers so far during his NBA career. He played a major role alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, averaging 21.6 points and 5.1 assists to help the Thunder win the 2024-25 NBA championship.

Still, fans believe it is far too bold to place the Williams brothers above established brother duos such as the Currys or the Thompsons.

Stephen has already built one of the greatest résumés in NBA history, while Seth has carved out a respected career of his own over more than a decade in the league. The Thompson brothers have also made a strong impression despite being much earlier in their careers, offering little justification to J-Dub’s claim.
