Bijan Robinson is the 1.01 here after piling up 366 touches, 2,298 scrimmage yards and 820 receiving yards last season. Jahmyr Gibbs is 1.02, and I won’t fight anyone who wants to flip them. After that, though, this list starts to disagree with the room. James Cook III is seventh despite going 12.6 overall in PPR mocks. De’Von Achane is 19th while the market has him at 10.2, which is close to a full round I’m not willing to pay for a back whose goal-line and receiving work both got murkier in Miami. Brock Bowers gets the nod over Trey McBride at tight end. Travis Hunter is 132nd, nearly 30 picks ahead of his 160.4 ADP.

Should You Draft Aaron Jones?
Entering his age-31 season, the miles are heavily piling up for Aaron Jones. The veteran is well over 1,500 career carries, and he has not recorded a single rush gaining more than 41 yards since 2021. Beyond his declining breakaway speed, durability remains a massive red flag; he missed five games in 2025 and six games in 2024 during his final year with the Packers.
While his name recognition still holds weight for managers hoping for a vintage season (or even a serviceable one where he is the head of a committee), the structural reality of the Minnesota Vikings backfield points in a different direction.
Camp reporting strongly suggests that Jordan Mason has emerged as the leader of this backfield, and I am not sold that it will even be much of a committee by mid-October. Mason has been wildly efficient throughout his career, averaging 5.1 yards per carry over a 395-attempt sample size.
To put his upside into perspective, since 2022, the only qualified running backs to see at least 14% of their carries gain 10+ yards are De’Vone Achane (15.3%), J.K. Dobbins (14.3%), Mason (14.2%), and Jahmyr Gibbs (14.1%).
Rushing efficiency typically spikes for running backs when a mobile quarterback can threaten defenses horizontally, a dynamic that Kyler Murray theoretically brings to this offense. If Mason produces anything close to his career efficiency alongside Murray, he possesses genuine league-winning upside given his current ADP while Jones becomes an afterthought and a waste of draft capital.
