OutKick founder Clay Travis has chimed in on the possibility of Enes Kanter Freedom playing in the WNBA following his verbal altercation with Natasha Cloud on Sunday.
Travis made an outlandish claim about Kanter, who declared his intent to enter the 2027 WNBA draft earlier this month.
Clay Travis Predicts an Improbable WNBA Stat Line for Enes Kanter
Speaking on Fox News, Travis cited the height difference between Kanter and the average WNBA player and predicted what his stats would look like in the league.
“He would average, if he played in a WNBA game, 50 points a game and 30 rebounds a game,” Travis said. “I’m not even exaggerating. This is because men are bigger, stronger and faster than women.”

Kanter played 11 seasons in the NBA, averaging 11.2 points and 7.8 rebounds while shooting 54.8%. He nearly averaged a double-double while mostly playing off the bench with 21.5 minutes per game through 748 appearances.
Travis’ comments come as Kanter continues to attract attention despite not having played professionally since 2022. His declaration for the draft has turned into a major talking point, with his NBA background making him an intriguing figure in the ongoing debate surrounding transgender athletes in women’s sports.
If he is allowed in the WNBA, Kanter would have a significant size and strength advantage over most of the competition. The average WNBA player is around 6 feet tall, while the former NBA center stands at 6-foot-10. However, Travis’ projected stat line remains an extreme prediction.
Travis also gave his thoughts on his and Cloud’s altercation on Sunday, referring to Kanter as the “bravest woman.”

According to a report from Front Office Sports, a league source has said that Kanter and Royce White, both of whom planned to enter the WNBA draft, are not eligible. The W has yet to address the situation publicly.
