The Pro Football Hall of Fame is set to welcome five players to Canton, Ohio, during Enshrinement Week 2026. Here are the details on this year’s Hall of Fame inductees, along with details on their careers to show why they earned their place.
A Look Back on the Legendary Careers of the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class
Larry Fitzgerald (WR)
Whether it be catching passes from Hall of Famer Kurt Warner or journeyman quarterback, Fitzgerald always produced at a high level at the wide receiver position. His smooth-as-butter route running and high IQ made Fitzgerald one of the NFL’s most consistently dominant players.
Even though he never won a ring, Fitzgerald’s 2008 postseason will go down as one of the best all-time for a wideout. During this stretch, Fitzgerald tallied a whopping 546 yards and 7 touchdowns in four games. That averages to 136.5 yards a game.
Fitzgerald’s legendary efforts helped the Arizona Cardinals reach the Super Bowl. Against a great Pittsburgh Steelers defense, Fitzgerald hauled in 7 receptions for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Besides this iconic 2008 postseason, Fitzgerald also had a 75-yard catch and run against the Green Bay Packers in the 2015 Divisional Round. Two plays later, Fitzgerald took the ball into the end zone to help the Cardinals advance to the NFC Championship game.
As he was a Cardinal his whole career, he goes down as one of the state’s best and most beloved athletes.

Luke Kuechly (LB)
Whether it be an interception, sack, or tackle, Kuechly always made a high impact at the linebacker position. While the Carolina Panthers’ offense had very good players, Kuechly helped anchor a great defense that led to the Panthers’ postseason success in the mid-2010s.
Kuechly was awarded Defensive Player of the Year in 2013. He also made five First All-Pro teams and was a part of the 2010s NFL All-Decade Team.
Even though he retired early due to injury, Kuechly goes down as one of the best linebackers in recent memory.
Drew Brees (QB)
Brees will go down as one of the best to throw the pigskin. His quick release and ability to read the field made him one of the most lethal throwers of the football for defenses to face.
Brees has five seasons with over 5,000 yards, which is an incredible achievement. Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes are the next closest with two 5,000-yard seasons each.
However, Brees’ best accomplishment was his fantastic performance in the New Orleans Saints’ only Super Bowl appearance and win. In this game, Brees completed 32 of 39 passes and threw 2 touchdowns as the Saints defeated legendary quarterback Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts.
Even though Brees never won a regular-season MVP, he won Super Bowl MVP for his legendary performance against the Colts. He also helped lead the Saints to two other NFC Championship Games, although they lost both.
Before Brees got to the Saints, the organization had hardly seen any success. However, after he arrived, the Saints became one of the NFL’s best organizations.

Roger Craig (RB)
Craig was as pivotal to the San Francisco 49ers dynasty as quarterback Joe Montana and wide receiver Jerry Rice were. Not only was Craig great at the running part of running back, but he was also very effective as a receiving back as well.
1985 was a historic season as Craig became the first player to have both over 1,000 receiving and rushing yards. During this season, the 49ers star had 1,050 rushing yards and 1,016 receiving yards.
While this was Craig’s only season with over 1,000 receiving yards, he had three seasons with over 1,000 rushing yards.
Craig’s versatile offense helped the 49ers win three Super Bowls. He also won Offensive Player of the Year in 1988. This year, he ran for 1,502 yards, the most in a single season of his amazing career.
Adam Vinatieri (K)
If it weren’t for Vinatieri, the New England Patriots would not have as many Lombardis as they do now. His clutch kicks helped the Patriots win multiple close games.
His most iconic game-winner came in Super Bowl XXXVI, as the Patriots defeated the then-St. Louis Rams. Vinatieri nailed a 48-yarder as time expired, as New England won its first ring, defeating the Rams 20-17.
Two years later, in Super Bowl XXXVIII, Vinatieri kicked a 41-yard field goal with four seconds remaining to help the Patriots beat the Panthers 32-29.
After an amazing 10-season-long stint in New England, Vinatieri’s talents were also seen on display as a Colt for 14 seasons.
Overall, this class elevated its teams to new and memorable heights. All of them deserved to be enshrined in Canton as legends of the game of football.
