National coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock with Football Night in America, featuring play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico, analyst Cris Collinsworth, and sideline reporter Melissa Stark.
Tonight’s matchup anchors a full weekend of festivities in Canton, honoring the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
The game carries extra significance for both franchises, as this year’s inductees include iconic Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and former Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly, as well as Drew Brees, Adam Vinatieri, and Roger Craig.
The modern-era legends will be recognized on the field during pregame ceremonies before Saturday’s official enshrinement. Preseason Week 1 action will resume across the league next week.

Head coach Dave Canales shared on Monday that the matchup this week won’t feature any starters for the Panthers.
“There are some competition battles for starting positions where guys will have an opportunity to play a little bit,” he told reporters on Monday. “But some of the guys we’re expecting to be out there right off the bat, I think we won’t play those guys in this game.”
With starting quarterback Bryce Young resting alongside the first-team offense, Canales confirmed that veteran Kenny Pickett will start under center for Carolina tonight. Pickett, who joined the Panthers on a one-year deal this offseason to secure the primary backup role, will handle the early workload before giving way to rookie quarterback Haynes King.
On the opposite sideline, the Cardinals enter Canton designated as the home team under head coach Mike LaFleur. With starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett resting, Arizona will have Carson Beck under center.
Historically, this marks Arizona’s sixth appearance in the Hall of Fame Game, extending back to the franchise’s participation in the inaugural 1962 contest in Canton.
Meanwhile, Carolina makes its second trip to Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium and its first since defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars in the franchise’s inaugural 1995 expansion campaign.
