As her second season in the WNBA continues, Paige Bueckers has already established herself as one of the most dangerous players in the league. Her scoring prowess while maintaining high efficiency, along with playmaking chops, has made her a dynamic guard.

But even after consecutive All-Star appearances, Bueckers isn’t satisfied with her game yet. While a thrilling All-Star Game was underway at the United Center in Chicago, a video of Dallas Wings superstar practicing with one of the greatest scorers in NBA history surfaced on social media.
Underdog shared a clip of her workout with two-time NBA champion Kevin Durant as she continued to add layers to her game.
From shooting drills to complete one-on-one breakdowns against a chair, the clip showed the two basketball stars going toe-to-toe on the court.

Durant, a 16-time All-Star, is one of the most efficient scorers in NBA history, with the sixth-highest per-game average at 27.14.
Meanwhile, a spectacular career at the collegiate level gave fans a taste of what to expect from Bueckers. Winning the national women’s player of the year as a freshman, she became a centerpiece for the UConn Huskies, leading them to four Final Four appearances and two national title game appearances.
Even winning a championship with the Huskies, she has the highest career scoring average in the program’s history. With three All-American selections under her resume, she was a clear-cut choice for the first overall pick in 2025.
Joining the Wings, her impact was instantaneous. Earning Rookie of the Year honors and an All-Star nod (the first of her career), Bueckers averaged 19.2 points and 5.4 assists per game while shooting a blistering 47.7% from the field.
In her second go-around, though, the Wings superstar has been substantially better. Increasing her per-game output to 20.9 points and 6.2 assists, her efficiency has gone through the roof, shooting 51.3% from the field and 39.7% from 3-point territory.
As a result, she earned her second consecutive All-Star nod this season. But the work for Bueckers is far from over.
Add in a stellar resume and his ability to be a true three-level threat on the court, and it seems like Bueckers is trying to establish a similar identity to further help her team. At 18-9, Dallas is fourth in the Western Conference, having played some of its best basketball.
Winning seven of their last eight games, the Wings have emerged as a true playoff threat in a loaded WNBA field.
