With weddings taking over the tennis world, Jessica Pegula has captured memorable moments from the festivities alongside fellow players. The American also shared rare glimpses of her husband, Taylor Gahagen, even though the couple typically keeps their relationship out of the public eye.
Jessica Pegula Shines at Tommy Paul and Asia Muhammad’s Weddings
The break between Wimbledon and the North American hardcourt swing has given several tennis players the opportunity to celebrate a personal milestone by getting married. Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter led the way by tying the knot in Leicestershire on the day of the Wimbledon men’s final. Meanwhile, Liudmila Samsonova married her longtime coach and partner, Alessandro Dumitrache, in Rome.
The celebrations have also given insight into the heartwarming friendships on tour, with Mirra Andreeva, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, and Kamilla Rakhimova enjoying Daria Kasatkina’s wedding to longtime girlfriend Natalia Zabiiako in Greece.
Meanwhile, Pegula joined Frances Tiafoe, Taylor Fritz, Reilly Opelka, John Isner, and Steve Johnson at Tommy Paul and Paige Lorenze’s lavish wedding in New York. She turned heads in an elegant sage green dress and shared rare photos with her husband, Taylor Gahagen.
The American later traveled to Vancouver to celebrate Asia Muhammad’s wedding to James Cross, where she made memories with Desirae Krawczyk and Jennifer Brady in stylish pink dresses.

Pegula is enjoying her time off after her run to the Wimbledon quarterfinals, where she suffered a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 loss to Coco Gauff. Despite her loss, the world No. 3 described the swing as the “best grass season” of her career, having also reached the Berlin Open final. She expressed her hope to carry that momentum into the North American hardcourt swing.
“It’s short, so I guess it was short and sweet. Not the best result. But I think I can still walk away going into the hard court season playing some good tennis. Hopefully can build off of this to get a good start in the summer swing,” she said in her post-match press conference.
Following her brief break, Jessica Pegula will head to Washington, D.C., for the Mubadala DC Open, which begins on July 27. The star-studded field at the WTA 500 event also includes Naomi Osaka, Venus Williams, Leylah Fernandez, and Madison Keys.
