Wedding bells continued to ring in the tennis world as American player Asia Muhammad tied the knot with James Cross in a picturesque wedding in Vancouver. Jessica Pegula, Eugenie Bouchard, and Desirae Krawczyk were among the guests who joined the festivities to celebrate the newlyweds.

Muhammad got engaged to Cross in September last year, showing off her dazzling engagement ring after the proposal in Kentucky Alleyne Provincial Park in British Columbia. The American received an outpouring of love from her fellow players after the announcement, with Coco Gauff, Madison Keys, Kim Clijsters, and Jessica Pegula sharing heartfelt messages.
Pegula also joined the couple for their wedding in Vancouver, taking part in the celebrations alongside Eugenie Bouchard, Desirae Krawczyk, Jennifer Brady, and Storm Hunter. In a humorous turn of events, Bouchard arrived in a butter yellow dress, the same color worn by the bridesmaids. However, Muhammad took the mix-up in stride and embraced the coincidence.
“ILY!! @geniebouchard (my backup bridesmaid) Kidding I genuinely did not care at all! She looked a joke in butter yellow,” Muhammad posted on her Instagram story.

Pegula stepped out in a pink dress for the occasion, while Krawczyk exuded elegance in a sage green outfit.

Like Muhammad, several tennis stars have taken advantage of the break between Wimbledon and the North American hardcourt swing to get married.
Tommy Paul tied the knot with Paige Lorenze in a stunning New York ceremony, with Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe in attendance. Meanwhile, Mirra Andreeva, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, and Kamilla Rakhimova traveled to Greece for Daria Kasatkina’s wedding to longtime girlfriend Natalia Zabiiako. Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter also exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in the UK.
On the tennis front, Jessica Pegula, Asia Muhammad, Desirae Krawczyk, and other players will soon turn their attention to the US Open Series. Following her quarterfinal finish at Wimbledon, Pegula is set to return to action at the Canadian Open, which will get underway on August 2.
