NFL legend Deion Sanders is embracing his PapaPrime duties with grandson Snow Jacquees Sanders-Broadnax this offseason. As he prepares to enter his fourth season with the Colorado Buffaloes, the veteran head coach took some time off to spend quality time with his daughter, Deiondra, and grandson on the beach.
Snow has been an active toddler who will turn two in August 2026. His shenanigans and lighthearted moments with Coach Prime often make the rounds on the internet. Fans likewise get to see the soft side of Prime, which is far different from his demeanor on the sidelines.
Deion Sanders Takes Up PapaPrime Duties With Grandson Snow
Coach Prime’s daughter, Deiondra Sanders, recently gave a sneak peek into her beach vacation on Instagram. She shared fun moments from her outing with her dad and son, Snow, on her Instagram Story and captioned the post, “Daddy raking the beach for us” (with two heart emojis). The Colorado head coach was basically cleaning up the space with a long shovel while embracing his duties as a proud dad.
Such lighthearted moments often make fans smile. Earlier this week, a similar clip went viral of Deion teaching his grandson how to catch a ball. Deion Sanders Jr. (Bucky) captured the clip and shared it on social media. When Snow failed to catch the ball, Bucky chuckled and said it was time for Snow to enter the portal. He took a subtle swipe at Coach Prime and his way of doing things at Colorado.

“I’m healthy. I got my health back. I got my swagger back,” Sanders said on Good Morning America last month. “Last year at this time, I’m fighting cancer, I didn’t know which way it was going to go… I’m fully back now. Last year at this time, it wasn’t a good look.
“We fought the battle, and we won the battle, fighting cancer. I’m cancer-free. I’m good. Great doctors in Colorado have brought me through. God has brought me through. I’m thankful I’m healthy,” he added.

While Coach Prime has bounced back from his medical adversity, it’s time for him to prove his coaching supremacy this season. After coming off a poor 3-9 record, the Colorado Buffaloes find themselves in quite an uncomfortable position. They have one of the toughest schedules in the Big 12 and will officially kick off the season against Georgia Tech on September 3 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
