Rich Paul Urged LeBron James To Take His Time Before Making Free Agency Decision
Paul was a guest on “NBA Today,” and revealed the latest timeline on James’ upcoming free agency decision. Paul said “I think it’s admirable the way he’s sought after today and a testiment to his hard work. We’re taking this thing very seriously. It’s his decision and I just tell him take your time.”

James entered free agency after having another All-Star season. He announced that his time as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers organization is over, something many league insiders believed was inevitable after the Lakers were swept out of the Western Conference playoffs by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
A number of suitors are interested in signing James, which Paul believes is a testament to his current standing in the NBA even as he enters his 24th season. James is still considered one of the best players in the league and is expected to be an impact player next season as he chases another championship.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have often been mentioned as the top suitor for James, though the Philadelphia 76ers have generated a lot of intrigue and speculation following their acquisition of All-NBA wing Jaylen Brown.
