Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are officially married. The couple tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, in a reserved ceremony to one of the most famous couples in the world. The star-studded event featured a number of celebrities, dubbed the wedding of the year.

The pair had been together since 2023. Kelce famously failed to meet her after Swift’s concert at Arrowhead Stadium. However, a line of contact was established between them later, and months later, with the NFL season already underway, their relationship became public when Swift appeared at a game next to Kelce’s mom, Donna.
One day after the wedding, Donna attended Macy’s 50th Fireworks show and answered a couple of questions. Naturally, details about the wedding were asked, and while she refused to go deep into the celebration, she couldn’t help but smile at the event:
“I really can’t say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man. Magical.”

Swift, one of the most well-known singers in the world and a pop superstar, has been in the imagination of NFL fans ever since. She has attended many Chiefs games, including their two most recent Super Bowl appearances. She was present when Kelce and the team won Super Bowl 58 against the San Francisco 49ers.

An earlier Page Six report stated that, during the week prior to the Madison Square Garden event, Kelce and Swift held a smaller, private ceremony for family and friends to officially celebrate their wedding.
“Although they will throw a huge party for more than 1,000 friends and family at MSG on Friday, following a rehearsal dinner for 100 people on Thursday, we are told the couple have already exchanged vows in front of a tiny group of loved ones,” says the Page Six report, while another source told the magazine, “They are already married.”

A long list of high-profile celebrities attended the event. Among the present, names such as Selena Gomez, Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence, Gigi Hadid, Hugh Grant, Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, Fergie, and Machine Gun Kelly were invited. Adam Sandler officiated the wedding, according to reports.
At this point, the couple still has a few weeks before Kelce reports to training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs. One of the most famous couples in the world is now officially married. We’ll see if Swift manages to attend even more NFL games in the future.
