‘She A Different Type Of Crazy’ — NFL World Reacts As Jordon Hudson Seeks UNC Staff Communications Tied To Pablo Torre

The NFL World had mixed reactions to North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson's unusual public records request.

North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, has made herself a household name since she started dating the legendary coach two years ago. Last year, journalist Pablo Torre reported that Hudson had been banned by the Tar Heels after a controversial incident during Belichick’s interview on ‘CBS Sunday Morning.’

Jordon Hudson’s Surprise Request Comes to Light

On Thursday, the North Carolina independent magazine, ‘The Assembly,’ reported that Hudson had filed public record requests that sought information from 24 Tar Heels staff members. The target keywords for the requests focused on Torre and her report about being banned from North Carolina’s facilities last year.

According to “The Assembly’s” Matt Hartman, Hudson sent an email to UNC vice chancellor for communications and marketing, Dean Stoyer, requesting WhatsApp texts, text messages, iMessages, Twitter messages, Zoom meetings, and emails between Jan. 29, 2025, and May 9, 2026, with the targeted keywords.

The NFL world on X had mixed reactions to the revelation about Hudson’s public records request:

Podcaster Lynden Blake was uncompromising about Hudson’s future. “I’m sorry she gotta go,” Blake wrote.

Former MLB executive David Samson challenged Hudson to appear on Torre’s show instead of filing a public records request.

NFL show host Jack Fitzpatrick was stunned by Hudson’s behavior, a year after the incident. “Yo she a different type of crazy,” he wrote.

On the other hand, CBS Sports reporter JP Acosta found the Hudson situation extremely funny.

The ‘Jaguar Gator’ page on X called out Belichick for letting off-field distractions derail his North Carolina career.

“The appeal that Bill Belichick had for UNC was, “I’m one of the greatest NFL coaches of all-time. I know what it takes to make it in this league. I can help you get there.” In Belichick’s first season, UNC sucked and didn’t have a single player get drafted, having fewer players get drafted than Southeastern Louisiana, Stephen F. Austin, and Buffalo, just to name a few,” the account wrote. “So, like, what’s the point of him being there if it’s just a sideshow producing no results in any capacity?”

Torre himself posted a funny meme of a man pointing at himself in shock at being the subject of Hudson’s public records request.

At the time of the incident, North Carolina dismissed Torre’s report that Hudson had been banned from the institution. In an Instagram post in November, Belichick’s girlfriend wore an all-access football pass and a necklace with the word ‘banned’ branded on it. She further revealed in the post’s caption that she would sue Torre for his report.

Belichick will enter his second season in charge of the Tar Heels under immense pressure after a disappointing debut in college football, marred by off-field distractions that culminated in a woeful 4-8 record.
